Our lab's very own Anna Kogler (Environmental Engineering PhD student) has been selected for the Stanford Interdisciplinary Graduate Fellowship (SIGF)! The competitive, university-wide program awards three-year fellowships to outstanding doctoral students engaged in interdisciplinary research. Anna's research plan, titled "Fertilizer and Disinfectant Recovery from Fecal Sludge: Technology, Environment, and Economics," will contribute towards developing a circular nitrogen economy. She will also be continuing work in Dakar, Senegal, which she began in December 2019, that aims to assess the long-term operation of our lab's electrochemical stripping (ECS) technique. We're very proud of your hard work and happy for your award, Anna! Well deserved!
